May 2016 : CASEIS oceanographic campaign (N. Feuillet, R/V Pourquoi Pas?), 3 weeks investigating the forearc basins of the Lesser Antilles arc (bathymetry, seismic reflection, cores). Blog: http://www.ipgp.fr/fr/campagne-mer-caseis
May-June 2015: MEGATERA oceanographic campaign (S. Singh, R/V Falkor), 36 days investigating the Wharton Basin and the Mentawai Seismic Gap! See our blog: http://www.schmidtocean.org/story/show/4777
December 2013: ODEMAR-Saintes oceanographic campaign (J. Escartin and M. Andreani, R/V Pourquoi Pas?), 4 days investigating the Roseau fault, a normal fault responsible for the 2004 Mw6.3 Les Saintes earthquake. We used ROV Victor and AUV Abyss (GEOMAR) to acquire very-high resolution bathymetry and images of the scarp.
February 2011: KaShallow 3 oceanographic campaign (LeBrun J.F., UAG, R/V Beryx), 20 days investigating the carbonate plateforms of Guadeloupe Archipelago, we used EchoSounder and we dragged the different plateforms.
February 2010: BathySaintes oceanographic campaign (Deplus C. and Feuillet N., IPGP, R/V Pourquoi Pas?), 10 days on the shallow carbonate platform and graben of Les Saintes islands in order to image the active fault system that ruptured the 21st Novembre 2004, inducing the damaging Mw=6.3 Les Saintes Earthquake.
February and March 2009: Gwadaseis oceanographic campaign (Feuillet N., IPGP,R/V Le Suroît), 30 days along the Lesser Antilles arc from Martinique to Saba islands in order to study the great sinistral, rightstepping en echelon active fault system. We used Multibeam Echosounder, Chirp, High Resolution Seismic Reflection, Coring and sonar imagery.
February 2009: KaShallow 2 oceanographic campaign ( Le Brun JF, UAG, R/V Le Suroît), 15 days between Guadeloupe Islands of Les Saintes and Marie Galante in order to study the offshore carbonate platforms. Investigation thanks to Multibeam Echosounder, Chirp, High Resolution Seismic Reflection.
